I am Jeba, a Software Architect living in the United States of America. I have 14+ years of experience in the Information Technology industry specializing in Architecture and Design, JEE, .Net and Oracle technologies. I have expertise in both Project Management and Technologies. I would like to explore more technologies & tools and would not restrict myself to be boxed with one specific technology or tool. From March 2008 to Present. Aires is a global mobility company. As an architect, I design, develop and maintain various web applications, do R&D on technologies and tools, establish standards, partner evaluation, contribute to infrastructure architecture etc. These web applications are for both internal and external clients and are built using JSF, ADF Faces, EJB, Hibernate and Oracle technologies. These applications are for the Corporate Relocation domain.
From June 2005 to March 2008. Infosys is a global technology services and consulting services company. As a project manager, I managed three teams, Services, Engineering and Quality Assurance ranges from 6 to 17 team members. My duties involved day to day management of the team, tasks allocation, client reporting, client billing, maintaining and adhering to CMMI complaince standards etc. As a project lead / technical lead, I mentored the team, established standards and developed web application built using Java, Struts, Servlets, Axis2, Web Services.
From June 2002 to May 2005. MedUSA System is a technology services company in the field of medical imaging and healthcare domain. As a software engineer, I developed desktop applications and libraries. I worked mainly on Radiology Information System and HL7 library projects which are mainly in Java and Swing technologies. I partly worked on DICOM library and CT Image detection which are built with C++. I learnt the standards like HL7, DICOM and CCOW during this period.
My primary skills are Java, .NET and Oracle technologies. I had the opportunity to learn and excel in both technical and project management streams. The following word cloud describes all of my skills.

Even though I have set titles, I played various roles ranging from developer, architect, project manager etc., I am very fortunate to wear multiple hats in the organizations I worked for. It gave the opportunity to learn different areas of technlogy, methodologies, architectures, software techniques etc quicker and faster. The following are the summary of all the software hats I weared/wearing so far.
Developed many web and desktop applications in the health insurance, healthcare and relocation domains. Identified, learnt and developed in almost all advance Java technologies.
Learnt .Net in 2001/02. Worked on console and windows applications, libraries and written a very sucessful email client plugin in C#.Net.
One of my recent interests. Learnt about Human Centered Design concepts and methods. Created many prototypes using tools like Illustrator. Part of client interviews, workshops in learning and understanding user needs.
Wrote many SQLs, stored procedures, nightly jobs, packages, cursors etc. Streamlined Oracle's CDC (Change Data Capture) implementations. Worked on Oracle, SQL Server and Postgress databases.
Performed hybrid framework evaluation, proof of concept with Ionic and Oracle's Mobile Application Frameworks. Worked on creating mobile apps in Oracle MAF for iOS and Android devices.
Created DevOps architecture for the organization. Evaluated various tools and technologies such as Hudson, Jenkins, SonarQube, Puppet, Chef etc. to name a few and currently implementing continuous deployment practices.
Met and interviewed Clients, gathered business requirement, performed impact analysis, created requirement documentation and knowledge transfer the requirements to development team.

Took major part in the data center migration and upgrade project. Performed vendor evaluation, operating system evaluation, capacity planning, contributed towards new network and system architectures.
As an Architect, contributed towards Application Security standards, policies, procedures, audits, vulnerability scans, fixes, risk register creations, trained development team on secure coding.
Created, installed, hardened and maintained Amazon's AWS cloud infrastructure services like EC3, Route 53, IAM, S3, Security Groups.
